AI is becoming a powerful part of everyday work, but getting useful results often depends on how you communicate with AI.
That’s where prompt engineering comes in. A clear and well-structured prompt can help AI understand your goal, provide more relevant answers, and produce better-quality content.
A good prompt usually includes:
- A clear objective
- Specific instructions
- The right context or role
- Expected format
- Important details and limitations
For example, instead of asking:
“Write about injection molding.”
Try:
“Act as a manufacturing expert and explain how plastic injection molding improves production efficiency. Use simple language and provide 5 practical benefits.”
The second prompt gives AI much more direction—and usually produces a much better result.

What is one prompting technique that has helped you get better AI results?
