I am XingYu Chen, an independent developer and the founder of [MakeShort](https://www.makeshort.ai/). Here is a short introduction to the product and its workflow.

## What MakeShort does

MakeShort is an online AI video creation platform for content creators and social media teams. It turns Reddit stories, written scripts, and chat-style conversations into narrated short videos.

The editor brings together:

- AI voiceovers
- Synchronized captions
- Background visuals and music
- Style controls and video previews
- MP4 exports for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels

## A simple workflow

1. Choose a Reddit story, script-to-video, or chat-style video workflow.
2. Add your text or conversation.
3. Adjust the narration, subtitle style, background visuals, and music.
4. Preview the video and export the finished MP4.

The goal is to bring story preparation and video production into one browser workflow, reducing the need to assemble each element in separate editing tools.

## Pricing and links

MakeShort is free to start, with paid subscriptions available.
