How to Generate and Manage Your Custom Tools on Prompt2Tool

Step 1: Sign in with Google
Use your Google account to log in. Free users have 200 free credits every month, which reset monthly.

Once logged in, go to your User Center and find the Prompts feature.

Step 2: Create Tool Prompts via AI
Interact with our AI through a conversation format to organize your tool requirements. Keep it simple—avoid overly complex instructions.

Once ready, you will see the Generate button. Click it to generate the final tool prompt, which can be downloaded as a Markdown (MD) specification file.

Step 3: Import MD/TXT to Tool Generator
Click Import MD/TXT to upload the MD file you just generated from the Prompts page.

After importing, the tool form will automatically populate (if you handwrote the MD file manually, it won’t auto-fill—you can edit manually).

Form Fields Example:

Name: prompt2tool-Tool-20251011031513 (default: username-tool-timestamp)
Slug: prompt2tool-tool-20251011031513 (default: username-tool-timestamp)
Category: AI (default)
Icon: 🔧
Description: Custom tool by prompt2tool – 2025-10-11 03:15:13 (default format: prompt2tool + username)
Tags: Editable
Click Generate Tool with AI and wait about 50–80 seconds. You will see a pop-up confirming the tool has been successfully generated and deployed for preview.

Step 4: View and Manage Your Tools
You can check your tools later in My Tools.

For newly published tools, manual review is required. Before approval, the status will show: Coming Soon (Pending Admin Review).

You can preview your tools yourself, but they cannot be shared with others until approved.

Once approved, the tool can be fully used. Our technical team reviews every tool, fixes any issues without changing the functionality, and decides approval or rejection.

If you encounter problems or have suggestions, please email tools@prompt2tool.com with the tool link (accessible via the View Tool button in My Tools).
