# 4 prompts worth remixing this week (and how to keep the credit)

**Four prompts that make great starting points, each shown with the image it made.** Pick one, change the highlighted parts, and post what you get. I'd love to see where people take them.

## Before you start

These come from Promptclay, a place where AI creators share prompts, remix each other's and keep them in collections. It's my project, so I'm biased. These four were collected into the library and credited to its library accounts.

The idea behind the site fits in four words: **prompts are better shared.** A prompt that only you use stops improving. One that gets remixed picks up new ideas, as long as the person who started it keeps the credit.

A quick word on how remixing works there, since that is the point of this post:

* Copying a prompt is always fine and free.
* A remix posted on Promptclay carries "Originally by" and "Remix of" lines that nobody can remove.
* Remixing is only open when the creator has it switched on for that post.
* Collections are free (three on the free plan). Collaborative collections, where up to three co-curators add prompts with you, are a Pro feature.

**Swap:** the flavour, the label in quotes and the gradient. It adapts to most packaged products.

**Keep:** "unfinished contours" and "thin construction marks". They are what stop it looking too tidy.

## 3. Mini figurine of a real person

For turning a photo of someone into a collectible figure. Upload the photo first.

**Swap:** {clothing} and {action}. The rest is short on purpose: isometric, full body, white background. Change the background line and you get a shelf shot instead of a product shot.

For quiet editorial spot illustrations.

**Keep:** "minor overprint offset". That small detail sells the print look.
