AI UGC Video Ad Prompt Workflow for Ecommerce Product Pages

I have been testing a compact prompt workflow for ecommerce teams that need many UGC-style ad angles without turning every product into a full production cycle.

The useful trick is to split the prompt into four passes instead of asking for "a video ad" in one shot:

  1. Extract the product promise, proof points, audience, objections, and visual cues from the product page.
  2. Generate 8-12 hooks, each tied to a different buyer awareness level.
  3. Turn the best hooks into short scene-by-scene UGC scripts with a clear first three seconds, product demonstration moment, caption line, and CTA.
  4. Rewrite variants for TikTok, Meta, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts so the pacing and caption density match the channel.

A starter prompt I keep reusing:

Read this product page: [URL]. Identify the main buyer, strongest product promise, proof points, objections, and visual assets. Then create five UGC video ad concepts. For each concept, include a hook, 20-30 second script, shot list, caption text, CTA, and one compliance risk to check before publishing.

This works best when the output is forced into structured fields. It also helps to ask for "what not to claim" because ad drafts can get too aggressive when the product page has vague benefits.

I built this idea into UGCfy AI (https://ugcfy.ai/) for ecommerce teams that want to paste a Shopify, Amazon, or product URL and generate product-aware hooks, scripts, storyboards, AI actor scenes, captions, and vertical ad variants. The manual prompt workflow is still useful because it makes the creative logic easier to inspect before scaling.
